Our own Wale makes a stop at NYC for his tour and is joined on stage with Young Chris, Joell Ortiz, and Kid Cudi. From the looks of this, it looked like one hell of a show. Props to Info for the footage.
After the jump, catch Wale on ESPN’s First Take courtesy of Elitaste.
Remember last week’s video of Dame Dash and his visible disappointment in finding out that Jay-Z agreed to a performance at the Mixtape Power Summit without notifying him? Well Choke No Joke’s not the only one who had cameras down there in 2003. Here’s the start of Roc Madness. Hov, drink in hand, doin’ “Dead Presidents” and “Can I Live.” – YN
Here are more performances from last night’s show once again courtesy of RapRadar. Above is basically what I feel right now, “I Hate My Job”.
After the jump check out more performances “Bottom of the Pussyhole”, “Cookin Up”, “Make Da Trap Say Aye”, “Get It In Ohio” and “Suck It Or Not”. Also if you haven’t checked out the post earlier you can do so here.
Vodpod videos no longer available. “I Really Mean It”
Cam’ron above performing one of my favorites Dip Set joints, “I Really Mean It”. Every single time this particular song plays, I wild the fuck out wether it’s in my car or at a club. I am sure it was that exact feeling everybody had that was in the building at Highline Ballroom last night for the Cam concert held by Hot 97. From everybody tweeting the show live it sounded like it was a hot summer Monday night as Killa brought out some classics as well as his current joints off his upcoming album, Crime Pays. Major props to all of them and of course RapRadar for the shit load of footage from the show.
After spending most of my morning watching these, they make me miss them old Dip Set days even more. I guess it’s unfortunate to say that Dip Set is dead and long gone away. More footage of Killa performing “Get Em Girls”, “Hey Ma”, “Welcome to New York City”, “Dip Set Anthem”, “Oh Boy”, “Down & Out”, “The Roc (Just Fire)”, “Cookies & Apple Juice”, “Got It For Cheap”, and both “Talk To Em” and “Push It” with Vado after the jump.
Drake performing the hit “Best I Ever Had”. Do not forget Drake will be in the building at Love Nightclub here in D.C. Saturday, May 16th. You already know we will be in the building. More performances from Drake after the jump.
I remember when I first heard this song I played it non-stop. Matter of fact, it is still the current song playing on my MySpace page. I hardly get on MySpace but when I do every blue moon one of the things I do is go to my page and blast this song. I have to see this song done live.
The nonsense continues. In this episode the frenchmen give their thoughts on the 50 cent vs Rick Ross beef, their record sales, and things that I’m going to have nightmares about for the rest of my life. After the jump footage of them performing two of my favorite joints Bebe Buell and Jimmy Choos. You can catch part one and two right here.
From Nas’ performance at Hunter College last night. Man something about this footage here just had me stuck. It could be the Phil Collins joint played before Nas went in with “One Mic”. It could be how you can barely hear Nas as the crowd raps the entire song word for word. I love it. This is how a Hip Hop show should be.
At the 4 minute mark did he forget the words? Was he just in a zone? Or was he just thinking about Kelis?
WOW!! some old vintage footage just released of a young Jay performing at the Apollo back in ’97 with Dame Dash as his hypeman. Here Jay performs “Can I Live”, his verse from his joint he did with Shai “I Don’t Wanna Be Alone”, “Feelin’ It”, “Can’t Knock The Hustle”. At the end Sauce Money comes out and him and Jay go in with the “All About the Benjamins Freestyle”.
