Juelz Santana – Street Hustlers Thoughts
Nothing street about this pic here, but the eye candy does it justice for this post. A joint from Young Splashy Splash. Skull Gang album coming soon.
I’m still not sure about this one but to show you what I meant when I said that electro is the future of hipster hip-hop, or whatever you wanna call it here is the soon to be MTV darling O’Neal McKnight. And of course there’s always this picture. Mr. McKnight is on the right. if you care.
If you don’t have this guy’s album, kill yourself. If you do, this might not be on the copy that you have since it’s an iTunes bonus. I meant to post this yesterday. And yes, with a girl like Christina Milian by your side, I am hating Terius.
Once again for all my NY peoples the good folks behind A&S are putting on a great event tonight with the mighty Jazzy Jeff on the wheels of steel. If you’ve never been to a Jazzy party trust the man goes in. If you are in the NY area then check it out here. I’m mad I can’t make it…instead I’m just gonna have to bump this Jazzy Jeff mix CD that you can get after the jump. Oh yeah the video up above is him killing it in case you need more proof.

Just got this shot over to me by Mr. Q. Common is one of the best performers hands down. I’ve seen him many times and he always puts on a full show. He controls every aspect of the show with DJ Dummy and the band behind him. What I really appreciate is the fact that he brings a soundman as well as someone to control the lighting system of the venue to make the most of the performance. Up top we have a nice freestyle after the jump some more footage of him performing The Corner and a portion of Nas New York State of Mind. banging son.
Lo speaks on the truce between him and his former adversary Clifford. Yea, it’s a slow day today and I just felt like posting something.
I thought the last few posts were different but this ish right here may be pushing the limit. I got it from Ian’s spot and he says they may be the next Mark Ronson but this song reminds of me Coldplay kinda with the vocals. The beat is sick as befits them since they got started doing production. I likes it. hit the jump for the link.
More dope dance music for you courtesy of the one and only Frankie Finch. If you haven’t heard of her yet trust you will soon. Pharrell and Jimmy Iovine are already on her bra strap, and you can add PDS to that list, because not only can she sing, but she is too fly, and her favorite singer is Blondie. Anyone who loves Heart of Glass is all aces in my book, and the lyrics to this song are going to throw you off. I definitely wasn’t expecting it and it made the song all the better. Hit the jump for the link.
You already know how I love this group and this latest single is more of that good stuff. I feel like it should be friday with this type of party music we posting right now but eff it we getting you ready for the weekend early with this stuff. Some feel good housey type stuff here with beautiful vocals courtesy of my girl Amy. Got damn that woman got a voice. Hit the jump grab the good stuff. Direct link cause we love you.
I saw this yesterday but forgot to post. And of course I had to post this because those who know Big Homie knows that I have this obsession with Keyshia Cole. Above she performs “You Complete Me” live on Jay Leno Tuesday night. She looks gorgeous as my wifey should.
Spotted via AllThatsFab. Shoutout to my girls, the lovely Aura & Martine
While it’s really not that funny at all, it is Master P. From King of the Industry circa mid nineties to this….well at least it’s not Old Spice.
This ish right here? This ish right here? is sick with it. Just download the mix and give it a listen. spotted at my new favorite blog, bloggertronix. My man mashes up everything from Aaliyah acapellas to dubstep reggae to electronic house. Sickness. Check more from him here. hit the jump for the tracklist and the download link.
You know that old saying don’t judge a book by it’s cover? Well don’t judge a video by it’s still image. This is dope and the video is hilarious. Like I said we getting on the hipster/electro for a quick second here…. check more from these guys at their myspace.

Okay we been on the Hip-Hop pretty strong over the last few days so lemme break up the monotony with a little bit from one of my favorite electro/hipster artists. We featured this song before here, but the dude Alex makes it entirely his own with this remix turning it into more of an electro up tempo dance record. While I prefer the original this is still very dope. The breakdown at 4:30 in is disgusting.
