Peep the Friday the 13th trailer. It has a nice slow build-up and creepy, vibe. It may be one of the few re-makes that hasn’t fucked up the original franchise (at least anymore than the last like 12 entries in the Friday the13th series did) We will up the full trailer when it becomes available.

I have to recommend Eskay’s excellent post about the KING magazine cover above. The first time I saw the original was at my best friend Zev’s house. As much as I love Ice-T I don’t think I even heard the songs being played I was too entranced by it. I figured this is a better picture than anything involving Officer Rawse and Wayne’s Daddy. Grant Morrison Interview Part Two

Grant Morrison is one of my favorite writers of all time. His run on New X-Men is pretty much unmatched except by the great Chris Claremont’s run in the early eighties. Not only that he also has numerous other classic comics to his name. This is an interview done by Newsarama about his recent series All Star Superman, which has to go up there with the great Superman Stories of all time. Watchmen Trailer x Scream Awards 2008

Nicely done. The more I see of this the more interested I am in it. I was just flipping through the book the other day, and even though I’ve read it a few times before I still am amazed at how well the script and the images coincide. I think that Snyder may have done it here too. I think it will be up to the actors as to whether or not the film comes close to the level of the original.
